Thank you for taking the time to visit ART photography. My name is Adita Robalino Teran. I was born in Ecuador and came to the U.S. when I was 25 years old. Having grown up surrounded by mountains, it comes as no surprise my love for climbing them. Mountaineering invites me to focus my attention entirely on the wall in order to make it to the top. Likewise, photography involves a similar immersion in reaching the perfect picture. Turns out rocks and cameras are creative catalysts in my life!
Music also activates my creative self. Growing up with music aficionados shaped my understanding and appreciation of music and art in general. I envision to translate such artistic taste on my photography. Besides exploiting my passion for music, I harness my interest for interior design and ornamentation. Having majored in architecture, form and aesthetics later became paramount features in visualizing, styling and producing the ideal photo shoot setting. My artsy background gets to meet the beauty of the ephemeral every time I get behind the lens.
Capturing moments comes full circle when babies are on the other side of my lens. The little ones are the main focus of my work. After I had my first baby, Sebastián, I got to better understand kids’ dynamism and sense of humor. Children’s wittiness and spontaneity enhances the beauty of every session; my camera and I move along with it.
